Actor, producer, and Jetset equity partner recognized for documentary As We Speak
Los Angeles, CA - May 7th, 2025 Jetset, a global growth marketing and performance creative agency, announced today that Peter Cambor, Head of Commercial & Film and agency equity partner, has been nominated for a 2025 News and Documentary Emmy® Award. The documentary, As We Speak, directed by J.M. Harper, was nominated in the Outstanding Arts and Culture Documentary Category. The film was produced by Cambor and his longtime producing partner Sam Widdoes at District 33, as well as with Park Pictures and Strike Anywhere Films.
As We Speak examines the growing weaponization of rap lyrics in the United States criminal justice system and abroad. The film has been praised for its cultural significance and storytelling, culminating in recognition by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS), the organization behind the Emmy® Awards - long regarded as one of the highest honors in television and documentary filmmaking.

Peter Cambor is an actor, producer, and commercial director with nearly two decades of experience in television, film, and branded content. His acting credits include roles in NCIS: Los Angeles, Grace and Frankie, and Suits. As a producer, he has contributed to both scripted and unscripted projects, culminating in his 2025 Emmy® nomination for As We Speak. At Jetset, he leads the Commercial & Film division, providing brands with cinematic storytelling, celebrity partnerships, and commercial films ranging from social media reels to Super Bowl placements.
Cambor’s nomination reflects Jetset’s distinctive position combining entertainment industry expertise with brand marketing. Under his leadership, Jetset’s Commercial & Film division develops creative campaigns informed by his background in both Hollywood production and commercial strategy.
